"I joined in February 2024 thinking I'd stay a couple months. Still here because the Thursday sessions give me a reason to actually review what's happening in my accounts. Also met two people I now grab coffee with monthly to talk through investment ideas. Worth way more than the fee."
Investment Community Membership Options
Choose a membership level that fits where you are in your investing journey. We're not selling dreams—just access to people who share your curiosity about financial markets.
Our community launched in early 2023 with twelve members meeting in a Hamilton coffee shop. Now we're over 200 people exchanging ideas, asking questions, and learning together. Some folks have been investing for decades, others are just starting out. That mix is what makes the conversations interesting.

What You're Actually Paying For
Let me be honest—membership fees cover our operating costs and keep things running smoothly. We rent meeting space, pay for software subscriptions, and occasionally bring in guest speakers who charge reasonable fees.
But here's what you're really getting: access to a group of people who've collectively made plenty of investing mistakes and are willing to talk about them. We've found that learning from someone else's missteps is significantly cheaper than making all those mistakes yourself.
- Real conversations about what's working (and what isn't) in people's portfolios
- A judgment-free space to ask questions that might feel basic
- Connections with investors at different experience levels and age groups
- Structured learning that doesn't require you to figure out everything alone
What Members Actually Say
Common Questions About Membership
People usually want to know these things before joining. If your question isn't here, just email us—we'll respond within a day or two.
Can I switch membership levels?
Yes, anytime. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades happen at your next billing cycle so you get the full month you paid for. Some people move up and down based on how busy their work schedule gets.
What if I need to pause my membership?
Life happens. You can pause for up to three months per year—just give us a week's notice. When you come back, you pick up where you left off. We had a member pause during her wedding planning and another during a job transition. No problem either time.
Do you offer refunds if I don't like it?
First month is covered by a straightforward money-back option if you decide it's not for you. After that, no refunds but you can cancel anytime and you won't be charged the following month. We'd rather you leave satisfied than stay unhappy.
When can I start if I join today?
Foundation members get immediate forum access. Growth and Summit members are invited to the next scheduled session—usually within the same week. We do a quick orientation call within 48 hours for all new members to make sure you know how everything works.
Are there any additional costs I should know about?
The membership fee covers everything except the annual retreat, which has separate registration because we're booking hotels and catering. That event runs around $400-500 for the weekend, and it's completely optional. Some members go every year, others have never attended.
How do I know which level is right for me?
Most people start with Foundation if they're testing the waters, or Growth if they're ready to engage regularly. Summit makes sense if you're already spending significant time on investing and want a more intensive community experience. When in doubt, start lower—you can always upgrade once you see how you use the membership.
